Let Freedom Ring

I give the creator of this piece the credit for having the guts to speak his mind in such a narrow minded society that we live in today.

The spoken word recording here is a virulent, angry diatribe against American bullying, shallowness, greed, violence and hypocrisy. The reader/writer of the piece hits many targets and warns against the closing of the totalitarian loop that has historically existed here since the demolition of the Native American people through the assassinations of ’60s leaders to the very frightening Orwellian existence of today’s leaders. “I like the alliteration, and I definitely agree with most of the points you bring up about America. It’s abrasive, but I think that’s what cutting edge poetry usually will be. I like the fact that you refer to yourself and the listener in your poem, that’s not something I hear too often.
